Our Cherry Picker: Versalift ETM-38-F

We operate a Versalift ETM-38-F van-mounted access platform, fitted to an Iveco Daily. It comes with a trained, experienced operator every time, and because it’s a van rather than a lorry or a towed machine, it parks in a normal space, sets up in minutes and needs no scaffolding.

What that means in practice

• Street lighting columns and Christmas lights — most town-centre columns are 6–10 m, well within reach, and the 9 m outreach lets us work over pavements, parked cars and street furniture.
• Roofs, gutters and fascias — comfortably reaches the roofline of two- and three-storey buildings.
• Signs, banners and CCTV — the fly-boom lets us get in close to building fronts and around canopies.
• Tight access — it’s a van. If a van can get there, the cherry picker can.

What we need on site

• Firm, reasonably level ground to set the stabilisers (max slope 5°)
• A parking space roughly one van long plus room for the stabiliser legs
• Clear space overhead — we’ll check for power lines and trees when we quote
